Pelvic floor dysfunction often occurs when your pelvic floor muscles are overactive (too tight) or underactive (too loose). This can lead to pain with sex, leaking with sneezing, or frequent urination.
Too many times as women we are told it is “normal” to leak after having kids or we are told that it is “normal” to have pain with sex or to have painful periods.
While it may be common, it is not “normal”, and pelvic floor PT can help!
